We had the pleasure of having friends from home visit us here in Oberursel. Our guests had a car to quickly make trips to the Rheingau wine growing region and out to dinner in Bad Hamburg. A luxury we don’t often have. It was wonderful to show off our little town, the woods, Frankfurt and the surrounding area.
Hamburg Weekend
We headed up to Hamburg recently to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Lovely people living in a lovely city with a great bike culture.
Next Up…
I have a four day weekend coming up in May. I just figured a nice cycle route that will take us upstream along the Main River southeast from our home. We’ll leave the river to ride over a small range to the Necker River and follow it downstream to the Rhine, which we can follow back toward home. It should be beautiful riding if spring weather ever arrives here in Hessen Germany. I’ve had snowy commutes this week.
